WINDOWS DESKTOP SOFTWARE
Privacy policy

Publisher and scope
This policy describes the JBStock Windows application and its public information website, published by Mouhssine jaiba. Contact: mohsinjaiba@gmail.com. It covers local business data and the optional Google Drive backup connection.
Local business information
Company or individual profile details, user accounts, products, stock, customers, suppliers, purchases, sales, payments and documents are stored locally on the user's computer. Photos, logos and PDFs are stored as local files. These business records are not sent to the public information website.
Google data accessed and purpose
If you choose to connect Google Drive, JBStock requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. It reads your account email address and Google permission identifier to identify the connected account. It creates encrypted backup files and reads their identifiers, sizes, checksums and application properties to upload, verify and resume transfers. It does not request general access to all your Drive files, Gmail, contacts or your Google password.
Transfers and sharing
With your explicit consent, encrypted backup archives are sent directly from your computer to your own Google Drive via Google's services over HTTPS. Archives may contain your business database, referenced photos, logos and PDFs. The portable decryption key and owner emergency access file are not uploaded. This feature does not send archives or account tokens to the publisher's server. Google processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Token protection and retention
Access tokens are kept in memory. The refresh token, connected account details and upload queue are stored locally using Windows-protected encryption tied to the local store profile. They remain available for authorised reconnects and background transfers until you disconnect or remove the profile data. Windows protection does not protect against every program running as the same Windows user. Backups remain on your computer and in your Drive until you delete them; there is no automatic remote deletion or retention schedule in this version.
Disconnecting and deleting data
You may disconnect Google Drive in JBStock's backup settings. This stops transfers, removes the local connection vault and requests revocation from Google. If revocation cannot be confirmed, remove JBStock's access from your Google account's third-party connections. Disconnecting does not delete existing local or Drive backups. Delete remote copies in Google Drive, including its trash as appropriate. Local data is managed on your computer; uninstalling JBStock alone does not necessarily delete it. Contact the publisher for assistance, without sending passwords, tokens or decryption keys.
Limited use of Google data
Google data is used only to provide the backup features you authorise. It is not sold, used for advertising, used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models or made available for routine human review by the publisher. If you voluntarily provide information for support, provide only what is necessary. JBStock's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Public website and updates
These static pages include no forms, advertising, analytics scripts or application cookies. The hosting provider, Netlify, may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the website under its own privacy policy. Emailing support shares your message and address with the publisher and email providers for handling your request. Updates to this policy will be published here; a new use of Google data requires appropriate notice and consent before that use begins.
